How it works

I

Answer honestly

7 questions about how you behave in relationships — from a partner's silence to conflict and closeness.

II

Don't overthink it

Your first instinct is usually the sharpest — pick the answer that resonates right away.

III

Get your style

One of 4 attachment styles — and the symbolic Tarot card that embodies it.

Where these 4 styles come from

Attachment styles aren't something this quiz invented — they come from a well-known model in psychology that describes how our way of trusting, getting close, and handling separation forms early in childhood, then carries into adult love. That model names a secure style — trust and ease whether you're close to someone or on your own — and three restless variants of it: anxious (needing frequent reassurance and a sharp fear of loss), avoidant (valuing independence and stepping back when things get too tight), and anxious-avoidant (wanting to merge with someone and wanting to run from that same merging, both at once). We built these 7 questions around those 4 styles and gave each one a symbolic Tarot card, so it's easier to see and remember your own shape.

This is a test for self-reflection, not a clinical diagnosis — it doesn't replace a session with a psychologist or therapist. Don't turn the result into a label: notice how much of it actually rings true right now, weigh it against your real experience across different relationships, and let it raise more questions than one answer can settle. If you want to look deeper, not just at your style but at a specific relationship, try the compatibility check.

Questions about the test

Is the attachment-style test really free?

Yes, completely — 7 questions and a result, no sign-up and no limits.

How is the result calculated?

Each answer leans toward one of 4 attachment styles. At the end, the style your answers landed closest to wins — but that's an orientation from 7 questions, not a final verdict, so weigh it against your real experience.

How is this different from a compatibility check?

The test is about your own attachment style in general — short, and not tied to any specific person. The compatibility check analyzes your actual pair: where you align, and where your styles might rub against each other.
